Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy 20 pieces of enemy military equipment and three ammunition depots in the Tavria sector
Ukrainian defence forces continue to work actively in the Tavria sector. Over the past day, 64 occupiers' "two hundredths" have been added here, and the enemy has lost 20 pieces of equipment and three ammunition depots.
On the evening of 18 August, Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops, reported the results of combat operations on Telegram. According to him, during the day, the artillery units of the Ukrainian army carried out 1402 fire missions on the specified section of the contact line.
During this time, Russian troop losses in killed, wounded and prisoners amounted to 234 people (64 killed, 168 wounded and seven prisoners).
20 pieces of enemy military equipment were destroyed. In particular, one Ka-52 attack helicopter, one tank, six artillery systems and mortars, one UAV, six vehicles and five special vehicles were destroyed.
"We are moving forward. Glory to Ukraine," the brigadier general concluded his report with these words.
