Ukrainian defense forces continue to advance on the Tauride direction on the front. Ukrainian defenders continue to inflict losses on the occupying Russian army.

On Sunday, August 13, an ammunition depot and a command and observation post of the enemy were destroyed. This was reported by the commander of the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Tavria" Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavsky on his channel in Telegram.

Over the past day the losses of the occupants killed, wounded and prisoners amounted to 269 people (dead - 81, wounded - 176, prisoners - 12).

Also from the army of the aggressor country was "minus" 15 units of military equipment:

- one tank;

- two armored vehicles;

- three artillery systems and mortars;

- 9 units of automotive and 1 unit of special equipment.

According to Tarnavskiy, artillery units of the Tauride direction Defense Forces performed 1,630 firing tasks during the day.

"The Ukrainian Defense Forces are working and going forward. Glory to Ukraine!" - the message reads.

The General Staff of the AFU reported on the evening of August 13 that 24 combat clashes of the Defense Forces with Russian occupation troops took place on the front over the past 24 hours. Our defenders continue to hold back the offensive of Russian troops near Avdiivka and Maryinka in the Donetsk region, and also repelled enemy attacks in the Kupyansk, Shakhtarsk, Bakhmut and Zaporizhzhya directions.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the Defense Forces from August 7 to 12 inflicted significant losses to the occupants not only in manpower, but also in equipment. The armament of the Russian army was reduced by two helicopters, 78 drones, 61 tanks, 73 TBMs and other equipment.
