Russian troops suffered record losses in manpower in a week: figures announced

688 units of weapons and military equipment destroyed

Russian occupation forces suffered record losses over the past week. From December 11 to 17, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 7,250 invaders, as well as enemy weapons and military equipment.

This is evidenced by statistics on the portal russian-casualties.in.ua. In particular, the losses among the enemy army personnel have become a record for the entire period of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation - since February 24, 2022.

In total, over the past week, Ukrainian defenders have killed:

  • 7310 invaders;
  • 128 tanks;
  • 192 ARMORED PERSONNEL CARRIERS
  • 105 artillery systems;
  • 7 multiple launch rocket systems;
  • 5 air defense systems;
  • 136 UAVS;
  • 24 missiles;
  • 186 units of vehicles;
  • 30 units of special equipment.

As a reminder, Ukraine is preparing a new counteroffensive in 2024, and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhny, is already developing plans to liberate Ukrainian land from Russian invaders. The grandiose plans of the Ukrainian army are evidenced by the requests for weapons and equipment that the military command has sent to its partners from the United States.

Ukrainian soldiers on one of the front lines effectively met the Russian occupiers who dared to attack their positions. The defenders destroyed the armored infantry vehicles with the crew inside and on top.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to eliminate equipment, weapons and personnel of the Russian occupation forces. This time, Ukrainian border guards did a good job of destroying the enemy's ammunition load in Kherson region.
