The fire at the Epicenter construction hypermarket in Kharkiv, which was caused by a targeted Russian strike, took more than 16 hours to extinguish. The flames covered more than 13,000 square meters.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko published footage from the scene. Thanks to the continuous heroic work of the rescuers, the fire was completely extinguished.
As a result of the Russian shelling, 12 people were killed, 43 were injured, and 16 more are still missing.

The headquarters of the police investigation department and a forensic laboratory are working at the scene of the tragedy. Biological samples were taken from 10 people whose relatives have already contacted the police. Three of the victims have been identified. The identification of the bodies is ongoing.
Anyone who has lost contact with their loved ones is asked to contact the headquarters of the Investigation Department or call 102. First-line relatives are urged to provide DNA samples to speed up the identification process.

Earlier, it was reported that on Saturday, May 25, Kharkiv was under fire from Russian terrorists all day. The war criminals attacked a construction hypermarket, Central Park and a dense residential area. As a result of these attacks, five people were killed, 54 were injured, and 4 more went missing.
On the night of May 25, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with four S-300 missiles. One hit in Kharkiv was recorded in the industrial zone, and another missile hit a lyceum building.
