Occupiers shell Kharkiv: it is known about a lot of hits, there are victims

On the night of December 29, the aggressor country Russia launched many missiles at Kharkiv. A hospital building in the city was damaged and people were injured.

The shelling lasted in several waves, preliminary, with two types of missiles: S-300 and X-22. This was reported by Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

According to him, as of 06:26, about eight hits were recorded in the regional center, preliminary in Kyiv and Kholodnohirsk districts.

As a result of the attack, the city experienced some problems with the supply of electricity for transport, but specialists immediately began to restore the power supply. Temporarily, autonomous trolleybuses started running.

For his part, the head of the RMA, Oleh Syniehubov, said that the Russian occupiers had launched about 10 missiles at Kharkiv. Experts are still establishing what type of weapons they used.

"There are no casualties at the moment. Information about the destruction is being established. Specialized services are working at the sites of the hits," he added.

When Ukraine announced a large-scale air raid alert for the second time in the morning due to the launch of missiles by Russian aircraft, Kharkiv came under fire again.

Around 07:00, Terekhov said that at least four more hits were counted in the city, and then a third wave of strikes began.

The head of the Kharkiv regional police, Volodymyr Tymoshko, reported that a hospital in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv was damaged. And the director of the Emergency Medical Center Viktor Zabashta said that there were victims of the shelling of the city.
