Occupants attacked the center of Kherson and the region: there is a victim and wounded

On January 23, Russian occupation forces shelled Kherson region and the regional center. One person died and three people were wounded as a result of the hostile attacks.

A 52-year-old man was injured as a result of an enemy attack in the central district of Kherson. This was reported by the Kherson Regional State Administration.

As a result of the incident, the man sustained an explosive injury, a head injury, and eye injuries. The victim was transported to a medical facility. Doctors are providing him with the necessary assistance.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, also showed the consequences of the attack on an apartment building in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson.

"This apartment building in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson became a target for Russian terrorists. Residents recall with horror how their homes were directly hit by Russian artillery. It was a miracle that no one was injured.

The house was damaged. The specialists of our emergency service are repairing it right now. They have been working at the place of arrival since the morning," Prokudin said.

Later, the head of the Kherson regional military administration said that during the attack the Russian army killed a resident of Korabelny district of Kherson.

"A 70-year-old man was fatally wounded near the entrance to his house. Our condolences to the family of the deceased," the statement said.

In addition, a 74-year-old woman was injured as a result of Russian strikes on Kindiyka.

Also, the Kherson Military District reported an attack by an occupier's drone on Beryslav. A 47-year-old man was injured as a result of the attack. He was taken to the hospital with an explosive injury and a head wound. The victim is receiving medical care.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the aggressor country Russia launched 41 different types of air defense systems at Ukraine on the morning of January 23. Air defense forces destroyed 21 enemy missiles.

Also on January 23, explosions were heard in Kharkiv during a massive attack by the occupiers. Children were injured as a result of a missile strike on the region. In addition, a gas pipeline was damaged. In one of the districts, Russian terrorists destroyed a children's sanatorium school. The entrance of an apartment building was destroyed. Rescuers are working at the scene of the attack.

Earlier it was reported that in the morning of January 23, explosions were heard in Kyiv. Air defense forces were operating during a large-scale air raid. Later it became known about a fire in the Sviatoshynskyi district.
