Ukrainians were touched by a video of a wounded defender being rescued at the front. The soldiers of the 68th separate Oleksa Dovbush Ranger Brigade recently found their comrade during reconnaissance and used a drone to help him evacuate from the battlefield.
The video was posted on the 68th Brigade's Facebook page on January 19. The military said that operators from the Dovbush Hornets company of attack drones used a UAV to find the wounded Wolverine soldier on the battlefield.
They dropped tea to the soldier to warm him up, as well as a note with the words: "Friend, drink and crawl behind the drone."
Meanwhile, an evacuation team arrived at the scene and found the wounded man and took him to the "yellow zone" where he was treated by medics.
"Our guys have once again shown humanity and combat brotherhood, which are completely uncharacteristic of the Russian occupiers!" the soldiers said in a statement.
As OBOZ.UA reported earlier, Ukrainians were asked to help the wounded military. A frontline hospital urgently needs ALS devices to save the legs and arms of the defenders. The bill for 60 devices is UAH 150 thousand.
