Arrivals were on the territory of the "TransPele" base: new details of the explosions in Luhansk have emerged

On the afternoon of June 7, a series of powerful explosions occurred in the temporarily occupied Luhansk. OSINT researchers found that the Defense Forces managed to hit the TransPele base, where the occupiers lived and trained.

The invaders also repaired their damaged equipment at this facility, so there was always more than enough hardware there, according to the CyberBoroshno OSINT community and InformNapalm.

"The plane arrived in Luhansk at a very well-known rehab/base where terrorists lived and trained. There are a lot of enemy photos and reports from there, and the base itself has been geolocated by various OSINT/GEOINT teams, so it's time to go," CyberBoroshno said in a statement.

The OSINT researchers accompanied the post with two satellite images, dated June 5 and May 28, 2024. Both, they emphasize, show high activity of enemy vehicles and heavy vehicles, as well as vehicles undergoing repair.

At the same time, the Russian occupiers have been using the "TransPele" base site for parking military equipment since 2014, and InformNapalm volunteers began recording "interesting samples" there ten years ago.

In particular, in 2014, InformNapalm reminded, a BPM-97 KamAZ-43269 "Dozor" was spotted there. In 2017, the invaders organized a drone exhibition at the base, which proved that Russia was already supplying Russian unmanned aerial vehicles to the "young republics" in the occupied part of Ukrainian Donbas: "Orlan-10", "Takhion" and "Eleron-UAV".

"Archival satellite images show that a certain amount of military equipment of the Russian occupiers is constantly present in this territory," InformNapalm noted.

As a reminder, around noon, information about explosions in occupied Luhansk began to spread online. In local chat rooms, city residents posted numerous videos of unknown missiles being shot down by Russian air defense and of powerful explosions, apparently after arrival.
