Karpaty midfielder Taras Sakiv scored a phenomenal shot from 24 meters in the 7th round of the Ukrainian Premier League. The 26-year-old brought victory to his team in the away match against Chornomorets.
In the 52nd minute, Yaroslav Kisil violated the rules against Ambrosius Chachua, knocking him down. The referee gave a free kick without hesitation.
Sakiv took the penalty and did a great job. The ball after the "shot" passed over the wall as if on radio control and flew into the corner of the goal.
As a result, this goal became the only and winning goal in the match. For Taras, this was the first goal in 32 matches played in a Karapat shirt since January 2023.
Lviv club gained 8 points with this victory and moved up to 9th place.
