Russian figure skaters with the words "they are used to punishing us for nothing" have thrown a new tantrum over the 2026 Olympics
Famous Russian figure skating coach Tatyana Tarasova has once again spoken out about allegedly unfair sanctions against Russian athletes. The ardent Z-patriot accused the International Federation of Figure Skating (FIS) of giving the representatives of the aggressor country only one quota in each of the disciplines in the selection for the 2024 Olympics.
Tarasova said this in an interview with the VseProSport portal. According to the accomplice of Vladimir Putin's dictatorial regime, Russians are "used to being punished for nothing." At the same time, she did not mention the ongoing doping scandals with Russian athletes, as well as the illegal and criminal invasion of Ukraine.
"We were given one athlete in each discipline, but we should have three. I don't expect the quota to be increased. Because they are used to punishing us for nothing. They will never do anything fairly. That's why we shouldn't count on them. We need to rely on the fact that one or more of us who go to the Olympics will be the best there," Tarasova said.
Earlier, she called for the condemnation of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) officials because the organization caught Kamila Valiyeva using banned substances.
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has recently officially stripped the Russian figure skating team of its Beijing 2022 gold medal due to doping by Kamila Valieva.
