A photo of Brazilian surfer Gabriel Medina has become a real hit on the Internet. The photo was taken in Tahiti by AFP photographer Jerome Brouillet during the 2024 Olympic tournament.
On July 29, 30-year-old Medina was able to ride a single wave in the fifth heat and earned the highest score in the history of the Olympic Games - 9.90 out of 10. After completing his performance and realizing that he had succeeded perfectly, the Brazilian, flying out of the water, showed his index finger up.
At this moment, Brouillette, being on the boat with other photographers, took his masterpiece photo. In it, Medina appeared to be floating above the water.
In a day, the photo garnered millions of views on social media.

The video garnered about 164 thousand views in a day. In the video, transgender actors parodied da Vinci's work The Last Supper, which offended Christians around the world. The clip gathered a lot of angry comments with indignation.
