Russian Olympic champion attacks Swedes, saying "Vikings just slaughtered thousands of people"

Vasiliev humiliated Svan

Two-time Olympic biathlon champion Dmitry Vasiliev spewed a batch of nonsense about the Swedes after skier Lynn Swan refused to compete with Russian athletes. The representative of the aggressor country accused the Scandinavians of all the sins of mankind, recalling the Middle Ages.

Vasilyev said this in a fit of anger in a commentary to the Metaratings.ru portal. The winner of the Sarajevo '84 and Calgary '88 Games called the Swedish athlete a brainless person and added that the Swedes should be held responsible for the crimes of the Vikings. At the same time, the ex-biathlete pretended that Russians are not killing people in Ukraine now.

"If you ask her why she doesn't want to, the Swede won't even say. Or she will say the generally accepted nonsense that everyone repeats like a mantra today. Since she is Swedish, then one could make even greater claims, for example, to the Vikings, who simply slaughtered thousands of people in their time. They plundered everyone around them. Does she also want to answer for that? If you follow her logic, if you are just Russian, you are already guilty, then she is guilty too. If she still has a remnant of a brain, let her use it and analyze it," Vasiliev said.
