Korean carrots in 5 minutes: the fastest recipe
Korean carrots are one of the most popular salads in Ukraine. It can be served as a separate dish or used as an addition to burgers, shawarma, etc.
A food blogger with the nickname emiliya yevtushenko shared on Instagram how to cook Korean carrots. She claims that the whole process should take no more than 5 minutes.
Ingredients
- Carrots - 1 kg
- Garlic - 3 cloves
Ingredients for the marinade
- Sugar - 3 tbsp
- Salt - 1 tbsp
- Oil - 5 tbsp
- Vinegar - 4 tbsp
- Paprika - 1 tsp.
- Chili pepper - 1 tsp.
Method of preparation
1. Peel and chop the carrots on a special grater.
2. Grate the garlic on a fine grater and add to the carrots.
3. Prepare the marinade. Put sugar and salt in a frying pan. Mix and add oil and vinegar.
4. Add the remaining marinade ingredients, stir, and bring to a boil.
5. Pour the boiling marinade over the carrots.
6. Stir with your hands, pressing the carrots slightly. Let it cool and serve.
