The American animated film "Inside Out 2" has become the highest-grossing Pixar film in the company's history. Less than a month after its official release on June 14, ticket sales reached a record-breaking $1.25 billion, surpassing the revenue of The Incredibles 2 ($1.24 billion).

From now on, the film is among the four highest-grossing animated films in the world, including Frozen, The Super Mario Brothers at the Movies, and Frozen 2, People writes. The second part of the animation has achieved much greater success than the previous one.

"Inside Out 2" tells the story of a 13-year-old girl, Riley, who faces new events in her life and experiences emotions she has never experienced before. With the onset of adolescence, anxiety, envy, nostalgia, and boredom are added to the standard feelings such as joy, sadness, fear, anger, and disgust.

Director Kelsey Mann captures the emotional difficulties that children face during puberty and adaptation to a new social environment.

Amy Poehler, who voiced Joy, admitted that she was constantly asking the chief creative officer of Pixar when work on the sequel would begin: "I used to pester Pete Docter and ask: "When are you going to make another movie? When is it going to happen?" And then they told me their idea of how to approach the creation of the second part, and I thought it was just brilliant."
