How to get rid of unpleasant odor from car seats: life hack

Yulia PoteriankoNews
With this product, you don't even have to rub the seats

Car seats, especially those with textile upholstery, have one unpleasant property: they absorb odors from the interior. Given that they smell like fuel and exhaust, and added to that are cigarette smoke, pet odors if you carry them with you, and so on, it can all turn into a downright stench.

The good news is that this odor can be removed. The life hack was shared by ticktocker Keith Griffith, who collects and tests tips for motorists.

According to him, a product that will remove the odor from car seats and the interior as a whole can be made on the basis of Coca-Cola. You will need 250 ml of the drink. Pour it into a spray bottle and add half a cap of liquid detergent or dishwashing liquid. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and the magic spray is ready.

The main trick is that you don't have to actually clean anything with it. All you need to do is spray the liquid all over the cabin or, for example, over the sofa at home. You will need a small amount of the product - you do not need to wet the surfaces with it. The spray will not leave streaks or sticky deposits and will completely eliminate the bad odor.

In the comments, Keith was suggested to use another method that is even easier to use. To remove all extraneous odors in the car, you need to pour a cup of distilled white vinegar into an open container in the morning after you arrive at work and leave it uncovered for the entire working day. In the evening, all you have to do is ventilate the car - all foreign odors will disappear along with the vinegar fumes. "I don't know how it works, but it works," the tiktoker wrote in the comments.
