Fluffy bagels with apples: how to make a good dough
Apple bagels are a pastry familiar from childhood. We all loved these flour products for their delicious filling and incredibly fluffy dough.
A food blogger with the nickname o stadnyk on TikTok decided to remind us how to make bagels. She offered a recipe that will always make the dough successful and the filling tasty and flavorful.
Ingredients for the dough
- Yeast - 25 grams
- Warm milk - 120 ml
- Sugar - 3 tbsp
- Salt - ½ tsp
- Eggs - 3 pcs
- Flour - 400-420 gr
- Butter - 40 gr
Ingredients for the filling
- Apples
- Butter
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
Method of preparation
1.Combine warm milk with yeast and sugar. Leave for 5 minutes.
2. Add eggs, salt, and sifted flour. Knead a slightly sticky dough.
3. Add soft butter and knead again.
4. Cover the dough with a towel and leave it in a warm place for one hour.
5. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Dice the apples and fry them in a frying pan with butter for 10 minutes.
6. Add sugar and cinnamon.
7. Divide the dough into three equal parts, each of which is rolled out into a 4 mm thick layer and cut into 8 pieces.
8. Add the filling, shape the bagels and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Leave for 15 minutes.
9. Before baking, brush with egg and sprinkle with sugar.
10. Bake at 180 degrees for 25-35 minutes.
