Famous Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie delighted fans with her new hairstyle on the red carpet in Los Angeles. She appeared at the premiere of the movie Maria with voluminous wavy curls, changing her classic smooth straight hair.

This event was part of the AFI Film Festival, during which Jolie celebrated her new role in the biopic about the life of the famous opera singer Maria Callas. Jolie's look featured a luxurious blend of old Hollywood glamor and modern elegance, Marca newspaper writes.

Her soft waves harmoniously complemented the champagne-colored satin dress and black cape, creating a sophisticated and luxurious look. The finishing touches were bright red lipstick, minimalist eye makeup and thin red nails.

During the premiere, the actress gave an interview to PEOPLE, in which she shared her thoughts on her role in the film. She spoke about how her character, Maria Callas, personally resonated with her. Jolie noted that she feels a certain kinship with Callas because of similar experiences of loneliness and dedication to her work.

"I know there are certain things that people would assume from the distance that we have in common, but I think what we have in common maybe is that we share a certain loneliness in kind of sometimes doing our work where we're the one, I don't know, up at night, alone, trying to figure something out," the actress said.

Jolie also added that, despite all their external achievements, both of them remain first and foremost workers in their field, constantly striving for self-improvement. "I am an imperfect person, but I work hard. So does she. We both see ourselves more as performers than anything else," Jolie said.

Earlier, it was reported that the movie Maria tells about the last years of the legendary opera singer's life, which she spent in Paris, reflecting on her career and romantic relationships. Jolie spent months preparing to convey the image of Maria Callas and her inner world as accurately as possible.

The film premiered at the New York Film Festival in September. It will be released in November and will be available on Netflix starting December 11. It is expected that Maria will attract the attention of not only moviegoers but also opera lovers.
