In Bristol Zoo in England, surveillance cameras captured a strange animal. The video shows a mysterious creature with horns and wings.

The footage puzzled experts. That's why the British Wildlife Park posted on Facebook that it needed help identifying the unknown animal.

According to the post, the animal has one horn on its head and wings on its back. The unknown creature is hiding near the habitats of other animals in the menagerie.

"Our conservation team uses photo traps to survey the ancient woodland on our site. Here you can see a familiar muntjac deer next to a creature that has confused us a bit," Bristol Zoo staff wrote.

The post also included a photo of the muntjac deer in daylight so that viewers could compare it with the mysterious animal.

According to zoologists, the muntjac deer is a small species of deer that grows short antlers. They are native to Southeast Asia.

Commenters on the zoo's Facebook page shared their speculations about the identity of the new mystery creature. Many agreed that the animal was probably a muntjac deer that had strangely caught the camera. However, some subscribers had more creative suggestions. "It's obviously a unicorn calf," wrote one commenter.

The Bristol Zoo's website also noted that the strange creature in the video appeared at the beginning of the zoo's Halloween celebrations.

"The appearance of this mythical creature is a mystery to us. Here at the Bristol Zoo Project, it has become a great inspiration for this year's Halloween route. In Scotland, there is the Loch Ness Monster, and in Cornwall, the Bodmin Moor Monster. Perhaps we have discovered a similar myth here in Bristol?" suggested Rosie Sims, public engagement manager at the British Zoo.
