Zaporizhzhia beat Mavpy in the Favbet Super League

Cherkaski Mavpy and Zaporizhzhia opened the second game day of the Favbet Super League in Lutsk. On paper, the opponents' chances of winning looked approximately equal, and the confrontation itself only confirmed this. Zaporizhzhia proved to be the strongest in the match, winning with a score of 80:68.

The match did not start easily for Valeriy Plekhanov's team. Just like the day before in the confrontation with BIPA, " Cherkaski Mavpy looked convincing in the first minutes of the game. In the third ten minutes, each team took the lead in turn. Zaporizhzhia had an advantage over the opponent in speed, and this was one of the factors that ensured the team's status as the leader before the last break - 60:55.

In the final quarter, Valeriy Plekhanov's team looked even more convincing and deservedly won their fourth victory in the championship. The Zaporizhzhia club committed far fewer turnovers than the opponent - 12 against 28. Their advantage in interceptions was also significant - 16 to 6.

Roman Morozov was the most productive player for the winners with 20 points, while Oleksandr Sizov scored a double-double (17 points + 11 rebounds). Andriy Agafonov scored 16 points for Cherkassy Monkeys. Andriy added 8 rebounds.
