On the morning of September 6, Russian troops fired five ballistic missiles at Pavlohrad in the Dnipro region. The city was destroyed and several fires broke out.

At least 61 people were reported injured, including three children and one person was killed. The attack was reported by the head of the Dnipro regional military administration, Serhii Lysak.

"The enemy attacked Pavlohrad. Preliminary, there are already 5 casualties. There were some destructions. The threat remains, so there is no information silence. Stay in shelters until the end of the day," he wrote at 10:36.

Later, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine clarified: the occupiers, according to preliminary data, struck at the civilian infrastructure of Pavlohrad at about 10 am with five "Iskander-M/KN-23" ballistic missiles. The Russians launched the missiles from their Voronezh and Rostov regions.

As of 11:30 a.m., the number of casualties had more than tripled, and a victim of the attack was reported.

"Unfortunately, there is already a dead person in Pavlohrad. The number of victims is growing. Now there are 18 of them in the hospital, including a 9-year-old girl. There were several fires in the city. An apartment was on fire in one of the high-rise buildings. The fire was extinguished and five people were rescued. Other details are being investigated," said Lysak.

As of noon, according to him, the number of victims reached 30. Three of them are children: boys aged 4 and 11, and a 9-year-old girl.

"There are two seriously injured people in the hospital. The doctors are doing everything to save them," added the head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration.

As of 12:30 p.m., the State Emergency Service said that the number of wounded had increased to 40 people, while Lysak said around 1 p.m. that at least 50 people were injured, the oldest being 86 years old.

"A five-story residential building was damaged. Firefighters extinguished the fire in an area of 50 square meters and rescued 5 people from the fire. Psychologists of the State Emergency Service are working at the site of the explosion to provide the necessary assistance to the victims," the State Emergency Service added.

Immediately after the explosions, local chat rooms reported "smoke and broken windows in one of the districts" of the city.

The official Telegram channel of the executive committee of the Pavlohrad City Council at 9:55 a.m. asked residents to stay in safe places due to the threat of Russian strikes. At 10:20 a.m., the citizens were urged "not to move around the city until the end of the day."

Dnipro Regional Prosecutor's Office initiated a pre-trial investigation into the case of violation of the laws and customs of war accompanied by intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

"A man died as a result of the attack. A total of 50 residents were hospitalized. Among the injured are a 9-year-old girl and two boys, aged 4 and 11," they said.

The condition of the victims and the extent of the destruction are being clarified. Emergency services and law enforcement officers are working at the scene to document another war crime by Russian aggressors.

Lysak clarified that three of the injured in Pavlohrad are in serious condition in the hospital. These are men aged 30, 68, and 69.

There are five minors among the victims. A total of 58 victims with torn and cut wounds, fractures, bruises, and head injuries were recorded.

The rocket attacks caused significant damage to the city: several businesses, more than 30 high-rise buildings, a kindergarten, and 27 shops were damaged. One car was destroyed and two others were damaged.

To help the victims, we have set up emergency stations and organized water deliveries. The company is currently responding to the attack and recording the damage.

As of 5 p.m., the number of victims has increased to 61. This was reported by Serhii Lysak.

"Most of the injured are in hospitals, although they are in moderate condition. Doctors provide all the necessary assistance to each of them. We wish recovery to those who suffered from Russian weapons today," Lysak wrote on Telegram.

Earlier today, it was reported that search and rescue operations had been completed at the site of the Russian attack on an educational institution in Poltava on September 3. According to the State Emergency Service, 55 people died and 328 were injured as a result of the arrival of two ballistic missiles. Experts are currently identifying the recovered remains.

On September 4, residential buildings burned in Lviv as a result of an enemy attack. The Russian terrorist attack killed seven people, including three children. At least 47 people were also injured, including 5 children.

On the night of September 6, the Lviv region again came under attack by Russian troops: this time, a fire broke out near the regional center as a result of the falling wreckage of a downed Shahid. According to Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi, the fire was in a warehouse in an industrial area near one of the nearby villages. As of 7:30 a.m., the fire was extinguished, and several trucks were burned to the ground. There were no casualties.

Meanwhile, in the morning of September 6, Russians struck Lyubotyn in Kharkiv region. Residential buildings in the town were damaged, and civilians were reported injured.
