The fillet will never be dry: how to cook diet meat deliciously
If your chicken fillet always turns out dry, you are simply cooking it incorrectly. This dietary meat can be made very juicy and soft. Just a little herbs, vegetables, and spices, and the product will sparkle with new flavors.
The idea of cooking juicy stewed chicken in tomato cream sauce with spinach was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Daria Ivanova (eatme daily). You can serve it with a fresh salad.
Ingredients for 4 servings:
- chicken fillet or 8 pcs. thigh fillet - 4 pcs.
- tomatoes in their own juice - 1 pc.
- frozen spinach - 300 g
- cream 15-33% (optional) fat content - 100 ml.
- sweet pepper - 2 pcs.
- red sweet onion - 1 pc.
- garlic - 2 cloves
- salt and pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Put the peppers on a baking sheet, put in a preheated 220-degree oven and bake until blackened (15 minutes).
2. Put in a tray, close, set aside.
3. Then peel, remove the seeds and cut into strips.
4. Leave the thigh fillet as it is, cut the breast fillet lengthwise into 2 thinner pieces.
5. Fry in a frying pan with two tablespoons of oil on both sides until tender (3-4 minutes).
6. Season with salt and put on a plate.
7. Add a tablespoon of oil to the frying pan, add the onion, chopped into feathers, and fry for 2-3 minutes.
8. Add chopped pepper and chopped garlic and cook for 1 minute.
9. Add the tomatoes, cover and simmer for 7 minutes.
10. Add the spinach (sauté fresh until it loses volume), salt, pepper, and sugar to taste.
11. Pour in the cream and stir. Add the meat.
12. Bring to a boil, reduce the temperature to a minimum and simmer for 3 minutes.
13. Serve with mashed potatoes, porridge, or just crispy fresh bread.
