The Air Force told what missiles Russia used to attack Kyiv on June 30
On Sunday, June 30, the terrorist country of the Russian Federation used Iskander-K cruise missiles to shell Kyiv. Both targets were destroyed by Ukrainian air defense forces, but the falling debris damaged infrastructure.
This was announced during a telethon by the spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ilia Yevlash, the media reported. Residents of the capital were once again urged not to ignore the air raid alert.
According to him, on June 30, at about 19:30, the enemy used Iskander-K cruise missiles during an attack on Kyiv. They managed to shoot down two missiles, but the falling debris damaged the infrastructure.
"We haven't noticed any significant changes. However, we can say that the enemy usually attacks at night quite seriously with their missiles. This time they decided to strike in the evening at half past eight on Sunday, a warm summer day when there were many people. This is how they show their cynical face every time. Russia is a terrorist country and continues to prove it with each such strike," emphasized Yevlash.
"Iskander is a Russian tactical missile system. Iskander-K is a variant using R-500 cruise missiles, with a range of 500 km and a warhead weight of 480 kg. The flight altitude of the missile is about 7 meters when it reaches the target and is no higher than 6 km, the missile is automatically adjusted during the entire flight and automatically bends around the terrain.
As a reminder, on Sunday, June 30, the aggressor country attacked Kyiv with missiles. It is noted that the air defense system was triggered, and the debris fell on a residential building.
