On September 9, an An-2 airplane crashed near the "Vatulino" airfield in the Moscow region of Russia. Preliminary, all crew members were killed.

RosMedia stated that the accident occurred during a test flight after a long repair. The pilot and his assistant were inside.

The AN-2 that crashed was used by a local parachute club. The preliminary cause of the crash was an engine malfunction.

One of the propaganda Telegram channels reported that the plane took off three times on September 9, flying in circles. The first two flights were normal.

"During the third takeoff, the engine 'sneezed' but continued to move. After that, the plane began to lose altitude sharply and crashed into a corn field near the village of Vatulino," the post reads.

The first to arrive at the crash site was a local resident who was a skydiver. He wanted to provide first aid to the pilots and pulled them away from the wreckage of the plane, fearing that a fire would start. According to him, the crew members were without signs of life, with their heads smashed in.
