Occupants started treating drones with an unknown substance: it causes chemical burns during contact
Ukrainian defenders have warned that the military of the aggressor country Russia has resorted to a new way to make its attack drones more damaging. Now they treat UAVs with a substance that causes chemical burns.
A corresponding warning was issued on September 22 by the Kharkiv Operational and Tactical Group. In particular, the OTG said that the substance used by Russian criminals to treat their drones causes chemical burns if it comes into contact with the skin.
Therefore, the Ukrainian military urged to be careful with trophy drones and not to touch them without special protective equipment.
"The Russian occupiers have started treating their drones with an unknown substance that causes chemical burns during tactile contact. Be careful and cautious, do not touch the trophy "birds" without protective equipment!" the statement reads.
At the same time, the Dnipro Regional Military Administration urged not to panic over the information about a chemical substance on enemy drones.
The regional military administration noted that no such cases have been recorded in the Dnipro region, but urged to be vigilant in case of suspicious objects.
"Please do not panic! There have been no such cases in our region. This is officially confirmed by the regional health department. At the same time, safety rules should be kept in mind in any case. Do not touch any suspicious objects," urged the head of the RMA, Serhiy Lysak.
If you see such objects, you should immediately contact the emergency services by calling 101 or 102.
Earlier, the Center for Countering Disinformation warned that the occupiers are preparing a provocation with chemical weapons in the Kursk region, in particular , they plan to stage or commit crimes similar to those committed in the occupied territories of Ukraine in order to accuse the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
At the same time, back in May, Western journalists found that the Russian army was using chemical weapons along the entire front line in Ukraine. In particular, the Russians are actively using chloropicrin, which acts as an irritant.
