The terrorist country of Russia will launch massive missile strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure when the air temperature is below zero for a long time. At the same time, the occupiers did not stop striking at the energy sector even in summer.

This was stated by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Halushchenko during a TV marathon. "It seems to me that they are waiting for a significant drop in temperature so that it stays below zero for a long time, and then they will strike. In this case, of course, the low temperature adds to the damage. In fact, there is no cutoff point, any sub-zero temperature already increases the risks," he said.

The head of the ministry added that no such massive attacks have been recorded so far, such as those on October 10, 2022, when the Russians used up to 100 missiles. "We have information that they are preparing for this, so we will respond accordingly," he said.

Earlier, on November 9, it was reported that two units at thermal power plants (TPPs) had stopped working in the west and the center of the country. The reason was emergency repairs. However, this should not affect the energy supply of Ukrainians as power engineers ensure that the electricity produced in the country is sufficient to meet the needs of all consumers.

"Two units at TPPs in the western and central regions were put out of service for emergency repairs during the day. Electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is enough to meet the needs of all household and legal consumers," Ukrenergo said.
