Before starting the process, you should prepare the area around the radiator. Place a damp rag or towel underneath to collect dust that will fly out of the system.

Next, turn on a hair dryer on medium to high cold air power and direct it into the space behind the radiator. This will pick up all the dust that has settled on the surfaces of the radiator and behind it, and it will fall onto the damp rag or towel that you have tucked underneath.

Once the dust is on the rag, simply collect it and throw it away or rinse it thoroughly. If the dust does settle on the floor or other surfaces around, you can additionally use a vacuum cleaner to clean it up.
