Quiche is a hearty pie with chicken and mushrooms. It is based on crispy dough and a lot of juicy filling. If you need something quick to cook for lunch for the whole family, this dish is a perfect option.

Food blogger Yana with the nickname gordynovskaya told us how to make quiche on Instagram. Everyone can do it.

Ingredients for the base:

  • flour - 250 g
  • butter - 125 g
  • egg - 1 pc
  • salt - a pinch

Method of preparation:

1. Sift flour and add cold butter, cut into cubes.

2. Grind into crumbs.

3. Add the egg and quickly knead the dough.

4. Do not mix for too long, just form a ball. Put the dough in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Ingredients for the filling:

  • chicken fillet - half a fillet
  • mushrooms (mushrooms) - 6-7 pcs
  • onion - 1 small
  • cheese
  • salt and spices

Method of preparation:

1. Finely chop the onion.

2. Fry until golden brown.

3. Add the chopped mushrooms and continue frying.

4. Then add the diced chicken fillet.

5. Add salt and spices.

6. Fry until the meat is fully cooked so that the excess liquid from the filling evaporates.

Ingredients for the sauce:

  • 33% cream - 140 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs
  • salt - a pinch

How to make the sauce:

Mix everything in a separate bowl.

Method of preparation:

1. After the dough has been refrigerated for 30 minutes, smooth it out in a baking dish.

2. Pierce it with a fork in several places.

3. Cover the top with parchment and add cereal to setthe dough.

4. Bake the base at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

5. Put the filling on top, add the diced cheese and pour the sauce over everything.

6. Bake the quiche at 180 degrees for another 30-35 minutes until the top is golden and the filling is set.

7. Let the cake cool for 25 minutes before cutting.
