Oatmeal is not always a gray, bland porridge. This product can actually be very tasty, and it will be much more hearty if you add fried mushrooms and vegetables instead of sweet products.

The idea of cooking delicious oatmeal with vegetables and cheese was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Kateryna Movchan. It is boiled in milk.

Ingredients:

  • milk - 200 ml
  • instant oatmeal - 50 g
  • zucchini - 80 g
  • mushrooms - 100 g
  • cherry tomatoes - 80 g
  • cheese - 40 g
  • salt and pepper - to taste
  • a small piece of butter

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the zucchini, mushrooms and tomatoes into small cubes.

2. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the vegetables for 5-7 minutes until tender.

3. Bring the milk to a boil.

4. Pour in the oatmeal and steam the porridge (or cook it according to the directions on the package).

5. Add the fried vegetables and half the cheese to the cooked porridge and stir.

6. Top with the second half of the cheese.
