1. Nissan Altima

The Nissan Altima is a midsize sedan with a comfortable interior and reliable safety features. However, it has a serious problem - the continuously variable transmission (CVT), which often fails after reaching 257,000 km and requires expensive repairs.

2. BMW 3 Series

The BMW 3 Series is a luxury compact car known for its sporty character and stylish interior. However, according to Carter, high maintenance costs become a problem after the car has covered 160,000 km. This is especially true for engine and electrical repairs.

3. Land Rover Discovery

The Land Rover Discovery impresses with its design and capabilities, but its air suspension and electrical systems often require expensive repairs after 100,000 km.

4. Fiat 500

The Fiat 500 is a stylish city car, but engine problems, such as oil leaks, make it unreliable. The limited space in the engine compartment also contributes to the high cost of repairs, which can come as a surprise to owners.

5. Jeep Wrangler

The Jeep Wrangler is a legendary off-roader built for extreme conditions, but its sensitivity to rust and problems with suspension and steering can occur after 160,000 km.

6. Ford Fiesta

The compact Ford Fiesta has good reviews for its fuel efficiency and maneuverability, but Carter notes that the model often experiences transmission and electrical problems, especially after 100,000 km.

7. Chrysler 200

The Chrysler 200 combines style and comfort, but this car has frequent engine and transmission problems even with relatively low mileage - about 100,000 km. This makes it an unprofitable choice for those who rely on durability and reliability.

8. Volkswagen Tiguan

The Volkswagen Tiguan attracts with its stylish design and comfort, but models after 160,000 km often suffer from costly transmission problems. These malfunctions can seriously affect the owner's budget.

9. Mini Cooper

This compact car has a number of problems, including oil leaks, turbocharging, suspension, and electrical malfunctions, making it a frequent visitor to service stations.

10. Tesla Model S

Tesla Model S impresses with its technology and speed, but owners should be prepared for expensive battery replacements after reaching 257,000 km.
