Baked pork brisket for the New Year's table: a step-by-step recipe

Food blogger Olha Riabenko shared her recipe on Instagram. She explained how an ordinary piece of meat can easily be turned into a real delicacy.
Ingredients
- pork brisket - 2 kg
- garlic - 5 cloves
Ingredients for the marinade
- spices for lard or meat - 2 tbsp
- smoked paprika - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tbsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- tomato paste - 2 tbsp
- mustard - 1 tbsp
- oil - 2-3 tbsp
Method of preparation
1. Rinse the brisket and pat dry with a paper towel.
2. Peel garlic and cut the cloves in half. Make small cuts on the meat and put the garlic inside.
3. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the marinade.
4. Put the brisket on the foil and brush thoroughly with the marinade on all sides. Wrap in foil in two layers and leave to marinate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
5. Bake at 190 degrees for 80 minutes.
6. After that, unwrap the foil, brush the meat with the marinade again and bake at 200 degrees for another 20 minutes to get a golden brown crust.
7. After cooling, store the finished brisket in the refrigerator.
