A list of the best cars on the secondary market with diesel engines has been published. There are affordable models among them. Experts have named the reliability rating of each of them.

The list of the best and worst used diesel cars was compiled by WhatCar. It includes premium models from Jaguar and BMW. However, we chose only the cheapest models.

Reliability rating of diesel cars:

1. Volvo XC40 (from 2017) 99.3%;
2. Skoda Karoq (from 2017) 76.9%;
3. Ford Kuga (2013-2020) 76.1%.

If we take into account only inexpensive cars, there are three models left on the list. However, experts recommend only one of them for purchase.

The Volvo XC40 compact crossover was noted as reliable. In addition, over seven years of production, many copies have accumulated on the secondary market. And in general, the model turned out to be very successful.

Crossovers Skoda Karoq and Ford Kuga with diesel engines are not recommended. It is better to choose gasoline options or pay attention to other models.
