Occupants kidnaped four ZNPP workers

The Russian military abducted four more employees of the Zaporizhzhya NPP. The nuclear workers were taken in an unknown direction, and their whereabouts are unknown.

This was reported by the press service of NNEGC Energoatom on Telegram. They emphasised that all four people were considered loyal to the occupation management of the plant and signed contracts with the fake Zaporizhzhya NPP Operating Organisation.

Among those kidnapped by the invaders was Mark Volkov, the deputy "head" of the service, who had been collaborating with the Russians.

According to Energoatom, despite their loyalty to the Russians and their "official" transfer to work for them, these individuals did not provide the occupiers with their Russian passports: either they did not receive them at all or they carefully concealed them. Perhaps, they did this to avoid being included in the list of collaborators after de-occupation.

The NNEGC believes that the invaders might have disliked this and that it was the reason for the abduction.

"One way or another, the situation at ZNPP is becoming more and more tense: inspections and the search for "unreliable" people are intensifying, and even cooperation with the occupiers does not save you from the basement or interrogations," the company said.

Recall: On March 29, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi visited Zaporizhzhia NPP in Enerhodar for the second time. According to him, the situation at Zaporizhzhia NPP has not improved, military activity and the number of troops are increasing in the area of the nuclear facility, but he did not specify which side of the war he was referring to.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL:

- The occupiers of Enerhodar in Zaporizhzhia continue to loot there. Currently, the Russians have begun to remove training equipment from the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant;

- Hryhoriy Plachkov, former head of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate, said that after Ukraine regains control over ZNPP, it will take a lot of effort to return it to a safe operating condition. First of all, it will be necessary to demine the plant.
