The hygienic cleanliness of the toilet is extremely important for the whole house

The bottom of the toilet bowl is one of the most difficult places to clean in the entire house. It often gets stains and stubborn deposits that are not easy to wipe off because this part is constantly under water. In addition, it needs regular disinfection.

However, cleaning experts have put together some effective techniques to make this easier and more efficient. OBOZ.UA tells you about all the life hacks.

Why it is important to deep clean the toilet

Regular surface cleaning of the toilet bowl is not enough to ensure hygiene in the bathroom. This area, due to its high humidity, is a good breeding ground for bacteria, and a lot of microorganisms collect here. Not to mention other types of contamination. Here are three products that will help you cope with deep cleaning of the toilet bowl and one that will easily disinfect it.

White vinegar

White vinegar is one of the most effective products for cleaning the bottom of the toilet bowl. When mixed with lemon juice and baking soda, it will effectively remove limescale and any other deposits. It will also inhibit the growth of bacteria. To use the power of vinegar, mix all of the above ingredients in equal proportions and pour the mixture down the toilet. Leave the product to work for a few minutes. During this time, it should be in an active reaction and form a foam. When the process is over, thoroughly scrub the bottom of the toilet bowl with a brush. All dirt should come off easily. Finally, rinse everything well with water.

Coke

Carbonated drinks, including colas, contain acids that work well with typical toilet bowl dirt. You don't have to prepare a special cleaning mixture. Simply pour 0.5 liters of cola into the bowl and leave it to act for 30 minutes, and then brush the bottom of the toilet bowl. If any stains remain, use the cola again or try the baking soda and white vinegar method.

Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide

Baking soda combined with hydrogen peroxide creates a powerful paste for cleaning the bottom of the toilet bowl. This mixture is also ideal for use on toilet walls to remove stubborn stains. Prepare a paste of baking soda and peroxide to the desired thickness, apply it to the walls, pour it into water and leave it for 15 minutes. After that, it should be very easy to clean all the stains.

Bleach

You can finish any of these procedures by disinfecting with chlorine bleach. Simply pour a full capful of bleach into the water in the toilet bowl and leave it on for 30 minutes. Then flush. During this time, most bacteria should die.
