Capelin in the oven: how to cook odorless fish with a crispy crust
Capelin is a budget fish, which can be cooked quickly and deliciously. It is mostly fried in a pan, but for the fish to turn out fragrant and not have a specific smell, it is better to bake it in the oven.
One of the cooking blogs(alin_withkitchen) on Instagram posted a recipe for baked capelin with spices in the oven, which you make in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients:
- capelin - 1 kg
- flour - 3 tbsp.
- fish seasoning - 3 tbsp.
- vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the fish and marinate it in fish spices.
2. Put the fish into a bag and add the flour, tie tightly on top and mix the capelin well.
3. Place the fish on a baking tray greased with oil, also grease the capelin on top. Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
