What to make from radishes, except salad: an original idea
Radish is a healthy spring vegetable that can be used to make salads, a variety of appetizers, and even a tasty pickle.
Chef Alexander Gorodnik(o_gorodnik) on his Instagram page shared a recipe for an original radish sauce, which is perfect for salads and croutons.
Ingredients:
- radish leaves - 1 bunch
- garlic - 1 clove
- roasted sunflower seeds - 3 tbsp.
- grated parmesan cheese - 3 tbsp.
- vegetable oil - 100-150 ml
- 1/4 lemon peel and juice
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Wash and chop the radish leaves.
2. Mix all the necessary ingredients in the bowl of a blender. Whisk until smooth.
3. Serve the sauce as a topping on croutons or as an accompaniment to your favorite dishes.
As for salads, radishes go well with cabbage and cucumbers. Food blogger Oksana Komashchuk(komashchuk_ksu) on her Instagram page shared a recipe for a spring salad of cabbage, cucumber and radish with a delicious sour cream dressing.

Sauce:
- yolks
- sour cream
- mustard
- spices
Method of preparation:
1. Shred the cabbage finely.
2. Cut the cucumber in half rings, radish - rings, white - cubes.
3. Shred the green onion.
