There are many nuances to making thin pancakes. It is very important to observe the exact proportions so that the dough is well cooked and does not tear. Also, the temperature of the ingredients you combine for the dough plays a big role.
Valeria, a food blogger with the nickname babyfoodopera, shared her experience of making thin pancakes with milk at the right temperature on Instagram. The cook notes that the milk should be warm.
Ingredients for pancakes:
- flour - 1 cup
- warm milk - 2 cups
- eggs - 2 pcs
- vegetable oil - 4 tbsp
- sugar - 2 tbsp
- a pinch of salt
Method of preparation:
1. Mix all pancake ingredients except salt and sugar in a bowl.
2. Add sugar and salt to the bowl and let the dough stand for about 10-30 minutes. You can even make the dough in the evening and refrigerate it overnight, and bake the pancakes in the morning - it will taste better.
3. Heat the frying pan well and wipe it with a paper towel with a drop of oil.
4. Pour about half a ladleful of batter into the center of the pan and let it spread, moving the pan in a circle.
5. Bake the pancake for 1-2 minutes on one side over medium heat.
6. Hook the edge.
7. Turn over and place on a plate after a minute.
8. Serve with sour cream, cottage cheese, grated apple or any other filling to your liking.
