Potato wedges are the perfect side dish for any meat and fish. The main feature of this dish is that the pieces become very soft inside, and an appetizing crispy crust forms on top. To achieve this effect, you need to follow a special technique.

The idea of cooking perfect potato wedges was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Vitalina with the nickname vitala_foodblog. First, the potatoes need to be boiled for 5 minutes and only then baked.

A way to cook perfect potato wedges:

1. Wash a kilogram of medium-sized potatoes well with a brush.

2. Boil after boiling for 5 minutes.

3. Cut the still hot potatoes into boats, add spices: garlic salt, potato salt, smoked paprika (optional), salt, pepper. Add 2-3 tbsp of olive oil.

4. Mix everything well and place the potatoes on a baking sheet covered with parchment.

5. Bake at 230 degrees for 20 minutes in a preheated oven.

6. For the sour cream sauce, mix 3 tbsp of 20% sour cream, 2 tsp of White Sauce with Garlic seasoning, salt and lemon juice to taste. This sauce also goes well with white fish or homemade shawarma. Of course, it is perfect with any potatoes.
