The most successful batter for juicy and soft chops: how to make the dish perfect
If you're cooking chops and want them to be soft and juicy, you should prepare batter. You can use milk, mayonnaise, cheese, onions, or eggs: there are many options. It is the batter that will make pork or chicken chops truly perfect.
Food blogger Oksana (oxana_bil) shared a recipe for chops in a delicious egg batter on her Instagram page. Its peculiarity is that the egg whites should be whipped separately into a fluffy foam. This trick makes the batter airy and the chops very soft.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet - 4 pcs
- eggs - 4 pcs
- milk - 4 tbsp
- flour - 5 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the chicken fillet into medium-sized pieces, cover with foil and pound lightly.
2. Season the meat with salt and pepper on all sides.
3. To make the batter, separate the egg whites from the yolks. Add a pinch of salt to the whites and beat until stiff.
4. Add milk to the yolks and mix.
5. Add flour to the yolks and mix. Add the whites to the resulting mass and mix gently.
6. Roll the chops in the batter and fry in a pan as usual.
