"King of spices": why cardamom is useful to add to coffee

Recently I was talking to a woman and she complained: "I love coffee very much. But lately, even after a small cup of coffee, I have been experiencing palpitations and even hand tremors. It just looks indecent."

But the solution to this problem has been known for several centuries in the East – just add a pinch of ground cardamom to a cup of coffee or strong coffee. This will give your drink a noble flavor and smooth out the negative effects of caffeine on the heart and nervous system.

In Indian restaurants, a plate of cardamom seeds is also served with the bill. It improves digestion and gives your breath a freshness.

Cardamom, also known as the "king of spices" and "berries of paradise," comes from the East. The three-chambered boxes, which are harvested slightly unripe and dried under the sun, contain dark seeds. The original flavor and aroma, as well as unique healing properties, have made cardamom one of the most common spices not only for the people of India and Sri Lanka but also for the whole world.

The range of healing properties of cardamom is unique. Cardamom is an excellent antioxidant. The substances contained in cardamom can improve appetite, stimulate gastric juice secretion, strengthen stomach muscles, normalize the gastrointestinal tract, and break down and remove cholesterol.

– Cardamom tones the heart perfectly; it is enough to chew 2-3 seeds to calm cardiac arrhythmia. Whether by chance or not, the name "cardamom" is consonant with "cardio".

– If you are prone to hypertension, it is especially recommended to add finely ground cardamom seeds to coffee or tea. Cardamom partially destroys caffeine and prevents high blood pressure.

– To soothe a sore throat, prepare an infusion of cardamom and cinnamon. When used daily, it is also a good protection against acute respiratory infections and flu.

Girls, be sure to include this spice in your diet.
