Gravlax is a Scandinavian fish dish. Literally, the name of this appetizer translates as "buried salmon". It is traditional for countries such as: Norway, Finland, Spain and Denmark. But it is more popular in Sweden.

In the original recipe, the fish was first mashed with salt and spices and then buried in the ground. Of course, now no one uses this method anymore, because instead of earth, food film or foil is now perfectly suitable. The modern recipe of this dish was shared on Instagram on the page masterchefstb.
