The idea of making a no-bake Plombir cake instead of Napoleon was published on the Instagram page of a food blogger with the nickname zhuravlina_cooking. A slice of this dessert will be a great addition to a cup of your favorite coffee.

  • flour - 250 g
  • sugar - 60 g
  • butter - 120 g
  • salt - a pinch
  • sour cream 20% - 500 g
  • egg - 2 pcs.
  • corn starch - 1 tbsp.
  • vanilla sugar - 20 g (2 sachets)
  • butter - 50-60 g
  • sugar - 120 g

Method of preparation:

1. Mix soft butter, sugar, flour and a pinch of salt.

2. Grind everything until crumbs form.

3. Fry the crumbs in a frying pan, stirring, until golden brown (about 5-6 minutes).

4. Mix eggs, starch, sour cream and sugar.

5. Cook the cream, stirring constantly, until it thickens. As soon as the first bubbles appear, cook for another 30 seconds.

6. Remove from heat, add vanilla sugar and butter.

7. Set aside 4 cups of the crumbs to sprinkle on top of the cake. Divide the remaining crumbs into 4 pieces.

8. Cover the bottom of the mold with parchment.

9. Put some crumbs on one mold, hot cream on top, etc. Sprinkle the remaining crumbs on top of the cake.

10. Cover the cake with cling film. When the cake has cooled to room temperature, refrigerate for 6-8 hours.
