Delicious avocado toast with mushrooms: how to prepare a hearty snack or breakfast in minutes
Avocado is a light yet very satisfying product that is ideal for healthy breakfasts and snacks. It does not require any heat treatment – just take out the flesh and spread it on bread. It goes perfectly with mushrooms, which can always be found in any store.
The idea of making delicious avocado toast was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Inna Levenets (inna_levenets).
Ingredients:
- avocado – 1 pc
- lemon for juice – half
- garlic – a clove
- oil – 1 tbsp.
- mushrooms – 100 g
- balsamic sauce – 1 tbsp.
- salt, pepper – to taste
- baguette
Method of preparation:
1. Mash the avocado with a fork, and pour over lemon juice.
2. Salt and pepper to taste, mix.
3. Cut the mushrooms into thin slices.
4. Fry in a preheated frying pan with oil for three minutes.
5. Add the chopped garlic and balsamic sauce.
6. Stir and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
7. Season with salt and remove from heat.
8. Assemble the toast: spread avocado on the bread.
9. Put glazed mushrooms on top, and sprinkle with finely chopped green onions, pumpkin, or sunflower seeds.
