Why eggs crack when boiled: don't make these mistakes
Boiling eggs seems like the easiest thing to do. But it is with this product that many people often have problems. The shell cracks and the inside spreads. There are several reasons for this phenomenon.
The FoodOboz editorial team will tell you what mistakes are most often made when cooking eggs. All of them are very commonplace.
Incorrect egg temperature
If you have just taken the eggs out of the refrigerator, do not put them in water. The temperature difference will cause the shell to crack. Wait a few minutes and then boil the eggs.
Very high heat
If you boil eggs at the highest heat, you won't get any better. You need to have a little patience and not rush the process, because the white and yolk expand very quickly due to high temperatures. It's best to boil eggs at a minimum heat.
Water without salt
For eggs to have the perfect texture, they should not be cooked without salt. Even if the shell cracks a little, the center will not leak out.
