If your stewed liver turns out tough, you are simply cooking it incorrectly. The product can actually be very tasty. To add juiciness to this meat, be sure to use apples and onions.

The idea of cooking soft stewed liver in a frying pan was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Svitlana with the nickname bonitavkusnoo. It turns out to be a very tasty sauce.

Ingredients:

  • chicken liver - 500 g
  • water - 1\2 cups
  • onion - 2 pcs.
  • apple - 1 pc.
  • flour - 1 tbsp
  • tomato paste - 1 tbsp
  • salt and pepper

Method of preparation:

1. In a separate bowl, mix the tomato paste, flour and grated apple into a fine grater.

2. Gradually add water and stir the sauce until smooth.

3. Rinse the liver and cut it into medium pieces.

4. Add the onion, sliced in half rings, to the liver.

5. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until the onions are soft.

6. At the end, season the liver with salt and pepper to taste.

7. Pour the apple sauce over the liver.

8. Bring the sauce to a boil, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming.

9. Keep on fire for about 2 minutes after boiling.

10. The sauce should boil and thicken - then the liver is ready.
