Pork ribs are a very tasty meat dish. The only problem is that they sometimes turn out dry and tough when cooked. This can be avoided if you cook the ribs in honey sauce and boil them – the meat is very tender, soft, moderately juicy, and has a sweet flavor.

The recipe for ribs in honey sauce was published in one of the culinary blogs (vika_tasty) on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • pork ribs – 1 kg
  • onions – 2 pcs
  • sour apples – 2 pcs
  • honey – 1 tbsp.
  • salt, pepper

Method of preparation:

1. First, cut the ribs so that each piece is with a bone.

2. Next you need to heat a frying pan with oil and put in a single layer of meat. Pour it with honey and fry for 5 minutes on each side.

3. Put the ribs in a saucepan, pour boiling water over them, cover, and simmer over low heat for 40 minutes.

4. In parallel, chop and fry the onion. Add it along with the chopped apple to the meat after 40 minutes.

5. At the same time add salt and pepper. Stir and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
