"Health" salad with raw vegetables, apple and original sauce: the recipe for the healthiest salad
Salads are best made with seasonal vegetables, and they are best eaten raw or baked. Salads are best seasoned with vegetable or olive oil rather than mayonnaise.
Chef Valerii Ponomar shared a recipe for a delicious and very healthy salad made from raw vegetables and fruits on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Beetroot – 150 g
- Carrots – 80 g
- Green apple – 70 g
- Radish – 70 g
- Lemon juice – 1.5 tbsp.
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp.
- Honey – 1 tsp.
- Any nuts – 20 g (walnuts, peanuts, pine nuts, and sesame seeds)
Method of preparation:
1. Grate raw vegetables and apples.
2. Mix lemon juice with honey and olive oil.
3. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and mix.
The salad can be eaten immediately, but it is better to let it stand for 30 minutes.
