Khachapuri in a frying pan in 10 minutes: what dough to cook with
Traditional Georgian khachapuri can be cooked simply in a frying pan. It will take a maximum of 10 minutes. The dough will be very loose and the cheese inside will stretch.
The idea of making quick khachapuri in 10 minutes with kefir is published on the Instagram page of food blogger Alina Karpiuk (alionakarpiuk). Don't forget to add baking powder to the dough to make the dough fluffy.
Ingredients for the dough:
- 300 ml of kefir
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp of salt
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 450 g of flour
- 10 g of baking powder
Method of preparation:
1. Mix all the ingredients for the dough in a bowl.
2. Divide the dough into 4 parts.
3. Roll out the dough.
4. Add cheese.
5. Roll up the edges and form khachapuri.
6. Fry in a frying pan on both sides, brushing each fried side with oil.
