How to bake potatoes deliciously in their skins: they won't be dry if you add one simple ingredient
To save time when cooking potatoes, do not peel them. It will not only be faster but even tastier. And to prevent the vegetable from being dry after baking, be sure to add bacon.
The idea of cooking juicy baked potatoes in their skins is published on the Instagram page of food blogger Vitalina with the nickname vita.cooking. Bacon will give off the necessary amount of fat and you won't even feel that you haven't peeled the vegetable, because the skin will be very soft.
Ingredients:
- potatoes – 4 pcs. (or 6 small ones)
- bacon – 120 g
- butter – 30 g
- grated cheese – 30 g
- spices (salt, smoked paprika, dry garlic)
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the potatoes.
2. Do not cut each one all the way through.
3. Place the bacon in the slits.
4. Melt the butter.
5. Add the spices to it.
6. Grease the potatoes well, inside and out. Do not skimp on spices and salt.
7. Sprinkle the potatoes with grated cheese.
8. Cover with foil, put in the oven, and bake at 200 degrees until tender.
9. Remove the foil 10 minutes before the end of cooking.
