How to bake chicken and potatoes to make a juicy dish: sharing the technology
Baked chicken with potatoes is an ideal option for a hearty lunch or dinner for the whole family. But the ingredients for this dish are quite dry. Therefore, in order for the components to combine well with each other, you need to bake them properly.
According to the following technology, the chicken should be cut in the middle. This way it will better absorb all the flavors. And also coat it with a delicate sauce. Bake the potatoes at the same time, but in a different container.

Ingredients:
- chicken – 1 pc.
- potatoes – 1-1.5 kg
- tomato puree – 3 tbsp or tomato paste – 1 cup
- sour cream – 3 tbsp
- lemon juice – 1 tsp
- paprika – 1 tsp.
- seasoning for chicken – 1-2 tsp.
- garlic – 3 cloves
- salt
- spices for potatoes – 1 tbsp
- oil – 1 tbsp for marinade, 50 ml for potatoes
Method of preparation:
1. Wash and dry the chicken, you can remove the goose and lungs if you wish. Cut the chicken in half along the breast and roll it out, make cuts.
2. For the marinade, combine the tomato puree, sour cream, paprika, spices, salt, lemon juice, and garlic, which has been passed through a press.
3. Coat the chicken with the prepared marinade and leave for 20 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, peel, wash and chop the potatoes into large pieces. Add salt, potato spices, and oil.
5. Put the potatoes on a baking sheet. Put a wire rack on top and place the chicken on it. Bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour +/- 10 minutes, depending on your oven and the size of the chicken.
