Canned citrus paste for cakes and salads: how to make this versatile preserve
Citrus notes perfectly complement desserts and even any salad. So it's a great idea to make a versatile lemon and orange paste instead of cream and dressing. The preserve is stored for a long time if it is put in a glass jar.

Ingredients:
- 500 g oranges
- 1 lemon (130 g)
- 350 g of sugar
Method of preparation:
1. Pour boiling water over the lemon and oranges and leave for 2 minutes.
2. Drain the boiling water.
3. Cut the citrus fruits into small pieces together with peels. Remove seeds.
4. Put them in a saucepan and cover with sugar. Leave for 30 minutes to let the fruit juice out.
5. Put on minimum heat, bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes until the sugar dissolves.
6. Whisk with a blender and pour into sterile jars. Tighten the lids.
